More New Features and Bug Fixes

Well another minor CataBlog version was released today, 1.6.2 is another step forward towards a bug free CataBlog. The two new features now allow admins to regenerate specific library items with the bulk menu and delete custom templates from within the templates editor. The two bug fixes now make sure that the LightBox version of transparent images are layered onto of the background color set in the thumbnail options, and there are no more warning messages about cookie values not being set in the library view.

Again, hope this new version works well and helps ease the experience people are having with CataBlog.

Thanks for this update. I have it installed and like the new page links in navigation. I’m still trying to figure out how to add a “view all” link into the navigation as well. I want it to appear within the existing navigation beside the “next” link.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately the limit setting is not dynamic, or set with a get parameter, so this isn’t currently possible on the same page. What I would do is make two separate WordPress pages or posts, one with the catalog paginated and the other with all items on one page. You can then manually make hyperlink to either page wherever you want.

Problems with this solution include that it is not very scalable, if you have 20 galleries then you will need 40 pages. Let me if that helps and good luck.

1 suggestion for the CataBlog categories widget: exclude any categories with 0 items (or at least present this as an option)

    Hello,
Actions grouped does not work for me. I can not for example, add to category several images. Once the “Apply” button press, it refreshes the page but does not change. 🙁

Please make sure you are using a supported browser and that JavaScript is enabled. Read the FAQs for more info.

You could also try disabling all other plugins, some might interfere. Also try switching your theme to Twenty Ten.

    Just a heads up…
Your link to http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/catablog.zip goes to a 404 page. WordPress plugin search for “catablog” only returns “catablog ordering” by diego2k.
